Password Alert Alerts You When Your Google Password Is Phishing
Chrome: Google today launched a new extension called Password Alert that prevents Google’s password from being used on sites not operated by Google.
The password notification alerts you whenever you enter your Google password on any site that is not a Google login page. The main goal is to prevent phishing attacks , but also a subtle reminder not to abuse your Google password. Of course, two-factor authentication is even better , but anything that can prevent phishing is useful.
