Easy Installation of Hooks With a Drill
Bare hand screwing on the hooks can be frustrating, especially if you are installing them on a ceiling rack. This simple trick lets your drill do the dirty work.
Reversing multiple hooks and loops (especially small ones) is a tedious process. Using a lever attached to the drill / screwdriver makes this task much easier. The hex wrench is perfectly shaped to fit securely in your screwdriver and is strong enough to screw the hook into wood.
You can also use the hook to rotate the hook. Insert the hook into a screwdriver and press down firmly on the threads, then thread the hook through the hook you want to turn.
Festool makes the attachment for drills, to accomplish the same task for those who like to spend money on additional tools, but Allen key or a second hook perfect for this as a last resort.
