Most Popular Attached Mic Headset: SteelSeries Siberia V2
If you’re looking for a headset that’s great for talking to colleagues on Skype or Hangouts, with teammates on Teamspeak or Ventrilo, or just listening to music, you have options. We asked you about your favorites and then reviewed the top five headsets . Now is the time to crown the favorite of the public.
Proof that age means nothing, one of the oldest typefaces in our lineup (and the one that came out when we last did this survey in 2012) topped the charts this time around. The SteelSeries Siberia V2 took first place with just 28% of the vote. Rugged construction, solid build quality, great sound, and a crisp, clear retractable microphone — all at an affordable price — deserve your praise and your voices.
However, 28% of the vote means none of the top five got a big lead, and they all settled with roughly the same total numbers. Second place gave way to first place by only eight votes, and gained more than 27% of the vote – the Sennheiser PC350 Special Edition , which many of you have rightly pointed out, was the only headset in the people survey, producing earphones – headphones are excellent in this regard. so you know which one you will get good sound. Third place went to the Logitech G930 7.1 Wireless Gaming Headset , which received over 19% of the votes for its wireless range, long-lasting charging time, customizable buttons and, of course, Logitech pedigree. In fourth place was the expensive but equally high-end and well-built wireless system ASTRO A50 with over 13% of the votes, while the Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma came in second with over 11% of the votes.
