Google Smart Lock Saves Your Passwords and Logs Into Chrome and Android
Google already has many features that will make it easier for you to manage the millions of passwords you have. In the upcoming release of Google Play Services, the company will introduce a feature called Smart Lock that can store and enter your passwords for third-party services across devices.
This feature will work on all devices. So let’s say for example you log into Netflix on your phone. If you use the same Google account on your tablet with this feature enabled, Android will automatically enter your password. Passwords are synced across Chrome and Android. The best part? It’s completely free, unlike one of our other favorites, LastPass . There is no indication yet as to whether this will replace or complement Chrome’s existing password manager. As Android Police points out, this feature will be part of Google Play services, so you can expect it to roll out to devices soon, with app developers to enable Smart Lock support shortly thereafter.
