Chromecast Adds Autoplay, Queue, Second Screen Capability, and More
Google today announced a host of updates to Chromecast, including autoplay, queue management, and more.
Autoplay will work just like it does on Netflix, with a new episode automatically playing when you finish it. It will work for any content provider with Chromecast compatible apps that include it. Likewise, you’ll also be able to create queues so you can order clips to play in any order you choose. Chromecast will also get a remote display capability, so you can use your iOS or Android device as a second screen, displaying one interface on the TV and the other on the device. If you’re more into gaming, Google is also promising great multiplayer gaming experiences with Chromecast, which should make it easier to play with others.
