Avoid Digging and Cultivating the Soil With Lasagna in the Garden

Lasagna gardening is a layered gardening method that is great when you are short on space or soil. It is a form of a no-digging garden that produces higher yields with fewer weeds and pests.

The idea behind growing lasagna is to build a bed of alternating layers of materials that are high in nitrogen and carbon. In this build, you will use things like grass clippings, leaves, fruit and vegetable clippings, coffee grounds, manure, compost, clippings from your garden, and other things that you probably already have on hand or that can be easily and cheap to get.
