The site is set up in a simple step-by-step format, so you can click through each step of the process to start the recovery process and get your identity back. You will start by calling companies that you know fraudulently has occurred, cancel or block credit accounts, change passwords, post a fraud notice with three major credit bureaus, and then fill out an FTC identity theft report to let them know what’s going on. … Best of all, each step includes all the links, forms, and phone numbers you’ll need to complete each task.
