Francis Y. uses rubber gloves for most of his household cleaning and has a special pair for washing dishes. Unfortunately, they had a small hole through which water could enter the inside of the glove.
But this hole could not be compared to Francis Y., who quickly fixed it using the following strategy :
I put the glove aside and let it dry completely. Then I took a patch, cut off the sticky part from one side, and applied superglue around the hole.
Then I took the sticky part of the adhesive tape and put it over the hole, making sure it also fits on the superglue. After drying, my old rubber gloves were as good as new.
That’s all. Even if you are not easily stained with dirt and soot, you can still consider a pair of rubber gloves for more than just dishwashing, including gardens, garages, and other open spaces that are more likely to rip apart. When they do appear, you can easily fix them so they last a little longer.
