Replace the Missing Screw on the Glasses With a Toothpick

When a screw is missing from your glasses, you lose either the lens or the earpiece. As a last resort, you can replace the missing screw with a toothpick.

If your glasses have lost a screw and you don’t have an glasses repair kit on hand, a toothpick is a convenient temporary solution. Line up the holes and insert the toothpick until it stops. Break off a toothpick and tape over. This should hold your glasses together until you get a new screw or drop your favorite glasses dealer and get them repaired. And if you have a loose screw that you think might be missing, you can fix the problem with clear nail polish .
