Build a Solar Powered Camera Beacon With a Raspberry Pi

Ever wanted to take regular outdoor shots without worrying about external power or using Wi-Fi or cellular signals? This Raspberry Pi camera beacon might be just that.

This build from user Instructables hackbp uses radio signals to transmit real-time images at regular intervals. A camera controlled by a Raspberry Pi takes a picture, the Raspberry Pi translates the images into an audio signal, and then the image is slowly broadcast using Slow Scan Television (SSTV) over the connected radio.
