Liven up Salad Greens With a 5-Minute Soak in Water
No one wants to eat wilted greens, but they point out on Kitchn that the easiest way to revive them is with a quick five-minute water bath.
Kitchn’s advice comes straight from a former grocery store employee. The retailer removed the herbs from the shelf and stored them in the refrigerator. In the morning, they could quickly submerge themselves in water for five minutes to revive the leaves. When those five minutes are up, simply air dry the herbs and put them back in the refrigerator. We’ve seen similar tips before, including soaking greens for an hour in lemon water , but this one is much faster.
