The World’s First Vibrator for Guys Isn’t Just a Marketing Gimmick

The Hot Octopuss Pulse II has been billed as the world’s first “gibrator” and claims to be interested in using a sluggish or erect mode. I have to admit that I was extremely skeptical when I first heard about this product, but my trusted male reviewer helped me realize that this could be a very interesting buy for some guys.

Specifications

Pulse II is an award-winning toy specially designed for men. Its most unique property is that it uses oscillation technology instead of standard vibration to stimulate the male frenum (a suture on the underside of the penis that is extremely sensitive to touch). There are five vibration patterns, the intensity of which can be adjusted.

Pulse II is available in two versions: Solo and Duo. As the name suggests, the versions are designed to be used alone or with a female partner, respectively. The Duo version also includes a multimode vibrator on the opposite side of the oscillating PulsePlate and a remote control.

It’s also fully waterproof and USB rechargeable.

The Pulse II Solo retails for $ 99 and the Duo retails for $ 139 .

How to use it

Insert a flaccid or erect penis into the flaps and allow the frenum to rest on the raised PulsePlate. The buttons on the side of the Pulse II help you toggle between different vibration modes.

There are two ways to use this toy yourself. You can hold Pulse II still and enjoy the wobbling sensation on the bridle, or you can add some water-based lubricant and jerk off the Pulse II like a more traditional male masturbator.

If you have a Duo version, you can ask a partner to join in the fun. You will need to be in a position where you can clip the toy between your bodies with the vibrator side of the Pulse II pressed against her clitoris. Hot Octopuss recommends a missionary or woman on top. I don’t like the Duo toy for couples, but we’ll come back to that later.

What I (and my tester) liked

My reviewer was shocked at how good the Pulse II is. He thoroughly enjoyed the sensation of hesitation, recovered quickly and experienced intense orgasms. Enough said.

Pulse II makes masturbation more fun. None of us have ever seen a toy that claimed to be usable in a flaccid or standing form, and I assumed this was an odd marketing ploy. In fact, the Pulse II’s sluggish ability ended up becoming a favorite feature of my tester. I obviously don’t personally understand male masturbation techniques, but my tester shared that the Pulse II does away with this awkward jerking stage when you try hard enough. Instead of pulling on the putty, you can just sit back and let the Pulse II do all the work.

What we haven’t done

Impossible to tell: Pulse II is an odd looking toy. I really laughed out loud when I took it out of its packaging for the first time. It is large, heavy and bulging. I thought it looked like a robotic insect from the future. My reviewer said that when it was turned on it looked like it had Batman’s penis. For me, aesthetics are not as important as functionality, but I would like the Pulse II to look less weird.

The vibrations are also a bit noisy. It’s not terrible, but it’s probably not the kind of toy you would like to use with your roommates.

I don’t think the Pulse II works as an affiliate toy for several reasons. First, the vibrations are not as strong. They are definitely not intense enough to give significant pleasure to a partner. It feels like there is an effect of suppressing vibrations and vibrations. It is also difficult to find a suitable posture to use. It’s too complicated and cumbersome to feel comfortable sandwiched between two bodies, and any jolts are uncomfortable and even a little painful. I appreciate the effort to attract a partner, but it just feels like a toy to be used on its own.

Who should buy it

Men with physical disabilities or injuries . Oscillatory technology was originally used for men who had spinal cord injuries but wanted their partner to become pregnant. With a little maneuvering, the Pulse II can be used hands-free, which can be a big advantage for some men. Pulse II can also induce feelings of togetherness and shared pleasure in couples who are unable to have sex.

Men who are struggling with erectile dysfunction. Pulse II can make it much easier and faster to achieve an erection. I have seen this a godsend for men with extreme cases of ED.

Men having delayed orgasms. There are many men out there who would like to orgasm faster. The Pulse II is almost guaranteed to handle this.

Men who want a different masturbation option. There are many male masturbators on the market, but the Pulse II is pretty unique. While you won’t be able to replicate the sensation of intercourse or the sensation of being fully embraced by a standard male masturbator, the Pulse II provides a different kind of stimulation – in a good way.

Final verdict

I think the Pulse II Solo could be a game changer for men with performance issues or disabilities. It’s also a great investment for men looking to experience arousal and orgasm in a new way. Rarely has a sex toy ever made me feel so jealous and deprived!
