Kodi (Formerly XBMC) Is Now Available on Android, No Beta Registration Required
We’ve been Kodi fans ever since it was still called XBMC . The Android version of the Media Center app has been in open beta for a while, but now that period is over. You can now download and install it on your phone, tablet or Android TV without joining the Google+ community.
The Play Store listing is still defined by the company as “beta”, although it no longer uses Google’s complex system to subscribe to beta apps. However, alpha versions of Kodi are still available on their Google+ community if you want to try out the latest features.
