The Graph Shows the Best and Worst Sleeping Positions for Common Pain.
Your preferred sleeping position and pillow greatly affect your posture and chronic pain. If you have or want to avoid neck, shoulder, back, or other pains, consider the sleeping position guidelines in this infographic.

It highlights the Do’s and Don’ts for five common types of chronic pain: neck pain, shoulder pain, lower back pain, jaw pain and headaches, and hip pain. It is similar to the previous picture we saw in the Wall Street Journal, but recommends the best and worst positions for pain type.
Changing the default sleeping position is not always easy, but if the sleeping pattern is aggravating or painful, it is worth trying to change the position.
