Ethereal Desktop
Ric AAP has put together this brooding, mysterious desktop that combines a bit of modern art and a few simple skins to make something interesting and truly unique. If you like the look, here’s how to achieve the same effect on your desktop.
Rick’s desktop runs on Windows, although this may not be obvious. Here are the components you need to set up:
- Wallpaper
- Tool setting and monitoring system for Rainmeter for Windows
- Rainmeter Elegance Skin for Time Overlay Wallpaper
- VisBubble Skin for Rainmeter for an active renderer in the center of the screen that responds to music
- RocketDock app launcher at the bottom of the screen
- Token icon pack to replace the default icons in the dock
That’s all there is to know about it. We usually don’t do much wallpaper with face characters on it, but this one has just the right amount of abstract and modern look. If you like this or have questions about it, be sure to check out Rick’s Flickr page linked below to mute the sound!
