Lunar Outpost Desktop With Dual Monitors
Some time ago hehe13 introduced this beautiful desktop computer with two monitors on our exhibition Desktop Showcase , and because we have not done setting with two monitors, it’s time. Here’s what he used to set it up.
It’s a Windows system if you couldn’t tell, and you can click the magnifying glass in the image above to see it in all its glory. The left display is the primary one (if you couldn’t tell, as it has most of the skins on it), but it all plays out well on both displays. Here’s what you’ll need to do it yourself:
- Wallpaper
- Tool setting and monitoring system for Rainmeter for Windows (hehe13 used a portable version, since he did not have administrator rights on the computer, which he set up)
- B’Loved Rainmeter Skin for Shelf Launch of Applications
- La Compagnie des Ombres by Milan rainmeter skin for table clock
That’s it: this time there are only two skins on top of Rainmeter, but to be honest, all of this happens very little anyway – and that’s a good thing! The right desktop is free and completely open to anything, while the left desktop can be used for other purposes or simply as a second unused screen to launch apps, monitor chat, or other programs. If you like the look or have questions about it, check out the post on Kinja hehe13 (link below) to talk about it.
Do you have a beautiful and functional desktop to show off? Share with us! Post it to your personal Kinja blog using the Desktop Showcase tag or add it to our Lifehacker Desktop Show and Tell Flickr pool . Screenshots must be at least 640×360 in size and include information about what you used, links to wallpapers, skins and themes, and any other important information. If your wonderful desktop catches our attention, you may be on our favorites!
