Build an Emergency Camping Plate With 2 Altoids Tins
Camping stoves aren’t prohibitively expensive, but if you need one you can’t buy, Make will show you how to build your own using a bunch of pre-made items.
The main issue here is a couple of cans of Altoids, but you’ll also need a JB weld, paint roller mesh, Chicago screws, some nuts, and a can of soda. Once you’ve built your stove, you can use a variety of fuels, including alcohol or even just sticks. Obviously, you won’t want to take this with you on a real hike, but as a last resort it will surely work.
