Add a Packet of Ranch Seasoning to Your Pickles

As far back as I can remember, even when I was very young, I have always loved pickles. Quick pickles, pickles, sour cucumbers, sweet pickles, fried cucumbers are all good in my eyes (and in my mouth). I love the large pickles that you can get from the basket in theme parks and the semi-sour ones that they put on your table at famous deli. I like to drink pickle.

I also appreciate the innovation in the marinade. Fried pickles are a recent discovery that has turned into an obsession and I’ve never been afraid to try “there” steams and pickles presentations. That’s all to say I wasn’t scared, not even a little, when I saw the smart woman you see in the video above add a packet of ranch seasoning mix to a jar of pickles.

Like my love of pickles, I have never been shy about my love of the ranch. It tastes good and has uses, and I refuse to curb my enthusiasm for the mixture of buttermilk powder, MSG, herbs and spices for the classic reaction of many “serious” foods people seem to get when given a bottle of juice. shop bandage.

My point is pickles tastes good and ranches tastes good, and I thought a combination of both would taste good as well. Also, I already added ranch seasoning to the fried pickles dough and it worked really well, so I had some empirical evidence to support my position.

It turned out that I was ultimately right, but the pickles weren’t quite what I thought. You will need to watch the video with my detailed review, but if you are short on time, know: pickles are good. The ranch is good. And pickles are good too. (These, too, are exceptionally well-grilled – sugar and dehydrated buttermilk do the most wonderful browning.)
