Learn to Program for Free When Building Apps for Non-Profit Organizations
Learn valuable technical skills and build an application portfolio by helping a non-profit organization? There is a lot to like about Free Code Camp.
The online camp offers free online self-paced coding assignments to help you learn HTML, CSS, JavaScript (and jQuery), Node.js, database usage, and more – hundreds of hours of practice and learning projects that should be completed by the end Not only are you ready to work on coding, but have a portfolio of projects that have helped nonprofits? Free Code Camp also offers afree front-end development certificate after you complete the course.
The only downside is that you have to take the time. Before you can work on building non-commercial projects, you need to complete tasks that include acquiring basic programming skills and fine-tuning algorithms, front-end development, and full stack development. It takes (more or less) 1600 hours to complete the course, but this is something you can do at your own pace.
There is a great community of fellow students and Free Code Camp volunteers (with live chat) to help you along the way as well.
Go encode and hopefully see you later!
