Create Your Own Professional Poker Table at Home
Having a play night at your dinner table is not always the ideal situation. Improve your game and create a dedicated 8-player poker table for around $ 300. This will work for other card games as well, and is much cheaper than buying a table with the same features.
A good card table is a great addition to your men’s cave or playroom. They are difficult to find at a reasonable price, especially the large ones. However, you can build your own from simple materials that you can buy from a home improvement store or a craft store. The video above shows how to build a table. It includes tips for measuring and cutting an octagon, working with speed cloth, placing foam in the center, and painting the entire object.
You will need two sheets of 5×5 birch plywood, one sheet of 4×4 MDF, 4 table legs, green cloth for speed, and 2 yards of 1/4 ” closed cell foam . For tools, you will need a circular saw, jigsaw, nailer, and drill.
