Get Perfectly Grilled Buns With a Damp Rag
Toasted buns take your burgers to the next level, but when you grill you can get dry crumbly buns. This trick with a simple damp rag will ensure they crisp on the outside and remain juicy on the inside.
This video from YouTube channel ChefSteps explains that grilling can dry out your buns a lot. To fix this, simply place the buns on the wire rack as usual, then place a damp cloth next to the buns and close the lid. The steam from the rag will moisten the buses until they are crispy. If you don’t have a lid to close it, cover the buns and rag with something else.
