Use the Tape Measure With One Hand Thanks to the “slot” on the Hook.
You probably know the basics of using roulette, but it has a few built-in “functions” that you might not be aware of. Case in point: This small slot on the hook can be used to hold a tape measure with a nail, or even draw a perfect circle.
This is especially useful if you are measuring the distance between nails or nails in a wall for hanging pictures. Simply slide the slot over the end of the nail and measure – no hand holding it. You can also hook it onto a nail and use it as an impromptu compass for drawing circles up to 50 feet in diameter.
