Make a Mini Hammer From a Ball Head Hammer and Old Furniture Pieces

Don’t have a rubber mallet on hand? Turn your perforated hammer into a small hammer with an old furniture rubber foot.

Hammers are great for assembling furniture and inserting wood into place without damaging the wood’s surface. Standard rubber hammers are 12 to 18 ounces in size with heads that are too large to rotate in confined spaces such as closets. They’re also a bit rough for small projects.

Transform your little ball- headed hammer into a hammer by adding a rubber furniture leg to one end. Now you have a small hammer for working in tight spaces, all without buying another tool.
