The IFTTT Maker Channel Connects Your Electronics Projects With Just About Anything
One of the big problems with DIY electronics projects is connecting them to the internet in general. Now, with the new If This Then That Maker channel, putting your Raspberry Pi or Arduino projects online is easier than ever.
With the Maker Channel, you basically create webhooks that fire other events. For example, if you press a button on something connected to the Raspberry Pi, it can trigger any other IFTTT action, such as pressing a button and sending an email. In essence, it makes the Internet of Things a little more accessible and easier to program. MakeUseOf has a great tutorial and some examples to get you started with a new channel.
