Commander One Adds Two-Pane View to Finder OS X

Mac: Apple brought tabs back to the Finder along with Mavericks, but if that’s not enough for you, Commander One adds a two-pane view, as well as a few other preferences and options.

Commander One works almost like a Finder plugin. Once installed, you get a dual-pane view, unlimited tabs, various sorting options, a simple switch to open hidden files, and more. It also adds several new keyboard shortcuts to make moving files easier. If you’re not a fan of the way the Finder works, Commander One is a more than capable alternative. There is also a Pro version that adds FTP support, Dropbox integration, iOS device installation, terminal emulator, and more.
