Use the Pocket Hole Tool to Create a Unique Lighting Effect on Your DIY Lamp
Hole pocket fixtures are very handy for assembling furniture, but they can also be used to enhance a homemade lamp.
The wood lamp shown above is a great DIY project for beginners. Start with a cedar or mahogany board and use a table saw to cut it to the desired length. Then adjust the angle to crop 30 degrees around the edges. After the boards are cut, you can drill the holes with the Kreg in an interesting pattern of your choice.
Then all you need is a light bulb and a light source switch or (if you prefer) a set of LEDs . Watch the video to see more.
