Not all smoothies (protein or otherwise) are superior in sugar to Snickers , but when you make them at home, you at least have control over the ingredients and quantity. As you may have cleverly guessed, smoothies are just gigantic whole food orgies in a blender, but there is a certain order to this madness. Thick it up, add more or less sweetener, or add more protein and calories for a complete meal, while making it taste better!
