Ask the Kids About Their Favorite Things to Get Through Awkward Small Talk

If you are at the age when all of your friends and family have children, you know how awkward it is when you need to talk a little with these children. In the “How to Do It All” section, they ask you to ask basic questions.

You can start with simple things like “What’s your favorite color?” “What’s your favorite movie?” and move on to the next question: “Is something important happening to you?” It’s pretty simple, but that’s the point. Children are not going to ask you questions, you have to take the initiative, what if you are already bad at chatting, and so it is difficult enough. But children love to answer questions, so while you can do that, you can make the situation a little less weird.
