Get Rid of Standard Windows 10 Apps With PowerShell
Windows 10 has several apps installed by default, some of which you may never use, such as the Xbox app or Phone Companion. Here’s how to uninstall these apps.
You will need to run PowerShell as administrator, but after that all you have to do is copy and paste the code that Thomas Vanhoutte posted on his blog.
The following applications can be uninstalled using PowerShell: 3D; Camera; Mail and Calendar; Money, sports, news and weather; Groove Music, Film & Television; People; Telephone companion; Photos; Solitaire collection; Dictaphone; and Xbox.
According to some online reports, uninstalling the Xbox app can improve the gaming experience on Windows 10.
