Stagefright Detector Detects If Your Phone Is Vulnerable to Stagefright
Android: Last month, we received news of a particularly nasty Android vulnerability called Stagefright that affects almost all Android devices. If you want to know if you are vulnerable, Stagefright Detector can tell you about it.
The app belongs to the same security company that first discovered the error. Of course, this app doesn’t actually fix anything. To do this, you need to wait while the security update is installed on your device. The severity of this bug has prompted Samsung and Google to launch a monthly security update program , although we’re still waiting to see if the rest of the industry as a whole will work together to make such security updates easier.
