CARROT Weather Appears on Mac and IOS App Receives Corresponding Improvements
Mac / iOS: CARROT Weather is a hilarious fun version of boring old weather forecasts that makes checking the weather a little more interesting. Today it launches on Mac along with some improvements to the iOS app.
The iOS app got a pretty hefty update with push notifications from the Mac app, a time machine to see weather for any location up to 70 years ago (and, oddly, 10 years ahead), weather maps, a new Today widget, and some new ones. details for the main weather screen. A Mac app includes all of the same functionality and can exist either in the menu bar or as an app in the dock. The Mac app is good too. You can click anywhere on the app to get detailed weather information, set up weather alert notifications, see the weather graph for the day, and more. The Mac app is quite expensive ($ 10), but it certainly gets the job done and includes a ton of great features.
