Moodnotes Logs Your Mood and Thinking Habits to Aid in Self-Awareness

iPhone: We know journaling is a great way to increase self-awareness , but sometimes it’s tricky. Moodnotes is a new app that makes it easy to track your mood, take diary notes and help you look a little better at yourself.

Moodnotes was created by Thriveport and the developers of Monument Valley as a way to track your emotions throughout the day. Moodnotes sends you a notification asking you to rate how you feel using the emoji. Depending on your answer, he will ask clarifying questions so that you can write a little more about your day and understand how you really feel. For example, if you have several days when you feel unwell, the app will ask you a series of questions about how you are feeling. Plus, it tracks your mood over time so you can see how much you’re improving (or not). Not just for bad mood, anxiety, or depression, Moodnotes are helpful for anyone trying to get a little better at understanding how they are feeling during the day.
