Signing up for a loyalty program is a great way to save money on travel , but some of these programs are more beneficial than others. US News editors reviewed several popular promotional programs to rank the best.
We’ve told you which airlines are the best and worst in terms of reward flexibility. This list goes further and goes into a few more details about hotel and airline programs. Of course, “the best” is still subjective, but US News explains their criteria:
To create the second annual ranking, US News editors ranked each loyalty program based on key aspects such as the size of the airline or hotel chain and how quickly you can accumulate enough miles or points to earn a free flight or stay. Our rankings also take into account the number of ways in which rewards are used and the additional benefits you receive as a member.
