Turn Refried Rice Into Delicious Crunchy Crackers

Overcooked rice is a poor helper for tasty roasts, but it is the perfect starting material for crunchy and delicious rice crackers.

My boy Justin Chapple – What? He follows me on Twitter guys, I swear he walks you through the process in the video above. All you need is some overcooked rice (although well-cooked rice will work too), an oven, a skillet, and some oil. If you want a smoother cracker, you can always puree the rice before drying it, as Kristen Kish suggested at the beginning of the video. (Justin skips this step for some reason.) Either way, you get a great cracker, and you won’t have to cry over the burnt rice!
