Configure Windows 10 to Search All File Contents Using This Setting
In Windows 10, many options and settings have been moved or completely changed. If you want Windows Search to check file contents as well as names, here’s how to do it.
To enable indexing of file content, follow these steps:
- From the Start menu, find Indexing Options.
- Click Advanced.
- Click the File Types tab.
- In the “How should I index this file?” select Index Properties and File Contents.
