Pristine Desktop

The Mackenzie desktop is a great place to relax in the woods, which reduces stress just by looking at it – making it perfect for a desktop or second screen. Here’s how to set it up.

This is the Windows desktop (not that it’s very obvious at first glance), but thankfully you don’t need much to get it all to work. You can only use the wallpaper if you want, or you can add one Rainmeter skin needed to make it all work together, it’s up to you.

This is all there is this time. Show or hide the taskbar (hidden here) whichever you prefer. Simple, pleasing to the eye and relaxing. Sometimes, as they say, less is more.

If you like what you see, head over to Mackenzie’s flickr page (link below) to let them know you like what the finished product looks like, or to ask your questions about how the whole thing was set up.

Do you have a beautiful and functional desktop to show off? Share with us! Post it to your personal Kinja blog using the Desktop Showcase tag, or add it to our Lifehacker Desktop Show and Tell Flickr pool . Screenshots must be at least 1280×720 and include information about what you used, links to wallpapers, skins and themes, and any other important information. If your wonderful desktop catches our attention, you may be on our favorites!
