Build an Automated Birdwatching Camera on Your Raspberry Pi
If you have a nesting box in your yard, you can sit around with binoculars all day waiting to see what cute little inhabitants come here. Or you can take the lead from Instructables user Sebelectronique and build a Raspberry Pi powered camera inside a birdhouse.
All you need is a Raspberry Pi, camera board, Wi-Fi dongle, SD card and tons of other sensors, transistors and resistors, plus some wood for the case. When you’re done, you will have a rig to watch for any birds that are settling. Of course, if you don’t like birds, you can use this to watch any other animals that may be hanging out in your yard. Head over to Instructables for a complete guide.
