NetNewsWire, the Classic RSS Reader for Mac, Returns With Modern Features
Mac / iOS: Once upon a time, NetNewsWire was the default choice for RSS readers on Mac. Then he disappeared for a while . Now it’s back with all the trim (and price) of a modern RSS reader. This includes a new iOS app.
NetNewsWire works exactly as you would expect. It has been updated with a new Yosemite-inspired interface that allows you to bookmark stories, share articles, read in the browser without distraction, open tabs, and sync between devices using NetNewsWire Cloud Sync. Actually the problem is synchronization. NetNewsWire doesn’t sync with third-party RSS readers like Feedly ( we love Reeder for that ), so you’ll have to import and use NewNewsWire in its own little bubble. However, it syncs perfectly with the new iOS app . Luckily, you can watch the demo before shelling out $ 10 for it.
