Universal remote controls come in a variety of forms, from simple joysticks for controlling multiple devices to monsters with smart homes. Last week, we asked you to list your favorites and then reviewed five of the best universal remote controls . We will now return to your favorite.
Features, bells and whistles weren’t enough to convince you to ditch the old and reliable Logitech Harmony 650 , one of the last remaining “simpler” Logitech remotes, capable of controlling multiple devices with a color screen and programmable actions. Its budget pricing also won you over, especially when compared to models that cost almost as much as a TV and equipment they can control. He collected just under 35% of the vote.
In second place was the flagship of the Logitech Harmony line, the Logitech Harmony One / Harmony Ultimate One , the current top of the line, capable of controlling multiple devices but also featuring a bright large touchscreen. He brought in just under 33% of the vote. Third place went to the Logitech Harmony Ultimate Home / Harmony Smart Control with 25% of the vote, thanks in large part to its ability to control just about everything in your home thanks to its included hub. Fourth place went to a cheap and simple universal remote the RCA , received 6% of the votes, while in second place with 2% of the vote turned out an application Touchsquid , turns your smartphone into a remote control.
