This video from Specific Love Creations YouTube shows you how to create a safe tension wire alarm using only a mousetrap, fishing line, and a few ring caps. Remove the retaining bar from the U-nail on the mousetrap, then cut off the curved section. Then remove the latch of the bait holder. Place a few small nails in line with the hammer strike and place a few ring caps over the ends of the nails to heighten your anxiety. When everything is ready, tie the line to the anchor bar and set the brace wherever you want. Indoors or outdoors, you will always know when an intruder is around. Mousetraps can damage if you’re not careful, so remember to remove the spring arm from the hammer while you work.
