Google Maps Can Find Places to Stop on Your Route, Show Gas Prices
Android: Well, that’s cool. The latest Google Maps update finally adds the ability to find places to stop on your current route. You can find gas stations, restaurants, grocery stores, and more. Gas stations will even show gas prices!
Previously, if you were in Navigation Mode and wanted to find a gas station, you had to exit Navigation Mode and search for a place manually. Now you can simply hit the search button and Google will show results that are relatively close to the path you are currently on. You can even use quick search options for gas stations, restaurants, grocery stores, and cafes.
