Watch Age-Rated YouTube Videos Without Logging In
Let’s say your internet research leads you to an age-rated YouTube video. You want to watch it (you know, for research purposes ), but don’t remember your YouTube login details, don’t want the video to stay in your browsing history. Fortunately, there are a few small URL tricks to help you with this.
If you remove watch?v=
and replace them with embed/
, you get a link that leads directly to the video without the rest of the YouTube site – and it plays full screen in your browser. So, for example, you would take this link:
youtube.com/watch?v=o5GDrJEGkVk
and change it to this:
youtube.com/embed/o5GDrJEGkVk
And you won’t need to log in. Alternatively, you can add nsfw
before the youtube.com
link part:
nsfwyoutube.com/watch?v=o5GDrJEGkVk
You will be taken to another site to play the video (and see an ad), but typing is a little faster. You can do the same by typing repeat
at the same place in the browser bar instead, the following:
http://repeatyoutube.com/watch?v=o5GDrJEGkVk
