Nest Folders Inside Folders in IOS 9

With every iOS release, we seem to be getting a new way of nesting folders within folders. With iOS 9, Youtuber videosdebarraquito shows it’s easier than ever.

Despite what is shown in the video above, you do not need to open any applications or perform any of the other actions shown in the first 10 seconds of the video. It’s actually quite simple:

  1. Make sure you have a folder at the top of the screen, if not, press and hold the folder to move it there.
  2. Press and hold the folder you want to move first. While holding it down, click on the space between the top folder and the top of the banner (where the clock is). Keep clicking and eventually this folder will open.
  3. Drag the first folder into the second, then click the Home button.

That’s it, you’ve nested one folder in another. As with previous versions, after restarting everything will return to normal.
