Netflix Subscribers Get Free Wi-Fi on Virgin America Flights
We’ve ranked Virgin as the best airline in the US , so it’s perhaps unsurprising that they are offering a terrific bonus over the next few months: free Wi-Fi for Netflix subscribers.
In a press release, Virgin announced that they are teaming up with Netflix to provide Wi-Fi access to their entire catalog of movies and shows. You can now stream your Netflix account on any Virgin flight equipped with their new Wi-Fi ViaSat until March 2, 2016. Passengers will need to bring their own device, but then they can open a browser and log into the Virgin ViaSat network. From there, they will log into their existing Netflix login or create a new account (with a free 30-day course) to access Virgin Wi-Fi and stream anything from Netflix.
Not all airline Wi-Fi networks allow streaming, and best of all, it’s free, so it’s a great deal if you’re a Netflix user. Check out the press release at the link below.
