Delete Multiple Photos in IOS Message Threads to Quickly Free up Space
By default, iMessage saves every photo you send ( you can of course change that ), which is great but takes up a lot of space. It’s easy enough to insert and delete these photos one by one, but 9to5 Mac points out a somewhat hidden trick for selecting multiple photos at the same time.
All you have to do is open the message thread, click the Details button and scroll down until you see your attachments. Tap and hold the photo, then tap the More … option. You can now select multiple photos. Select the ones you no longer need, then tap the trash can icon. It’s a little weird that it’s hidden away like that, but alas, if you want to select multiple photos in iMessages, this is your best bet. Alternatively, you can also use the same method to select multiple photos to save in your Camera Roll. Just click “Save Images” instead of the trash can.
