Google+ Is Undergoing a Makeover With a Focus on Communities and Collections
The fact that we do not want to use Google+ on all the services we use does not mean that this service did not have any promises. He will now try to match that with a visual update that focuses on collections and communities.
While there have been many mistakes along the way, Google’s attempt to create a social network has nevertheless garnered a respectable following among some groups ( including Lifehacker readers ). However, some of its best features, like communities and collections, were kind of tied to it. The new interface, which is currently rolling out to the web with iOS and Android apps, brings these key features to the fore.
The Community feature is a place where subgroups of like-minded people can gather to discuss their interests, while Collections allows users to create folders of related messages for easy viewing. You can spend all your time in one Community or Collections, or browse several. Most importantly, the design will be the same across all platforms, so you don’t have to think you need a laptop to use Google+.
