Hello Hipmunk – Virtual Travel Assistant, Connects to Your Calendar and Email
Travel planning usually takes a lot of effort. Travel site Hipmunk wants to help you with this with the help of its new travel planning assistant Hello Hipmunk.
Instead of looking for flights, hotels, or car rentals, you can email [email protected] for email recommendations. Email your mom about a possible visit, like Cc: Hello Hipmunk, and get recommendations in minutes. (You will need to enter something in the message, such as “@Hipmunk, I need a flight from JFK to MCO”.)
With Hello Calendar, if you allow Hipmunk to connect to your Google Calendar, it will scan for events when you are out of town and email you travel information for those dates (hotel, flights, vacation rentals and train options ). Useful if you have written Travel to Las Vegas, NV in pencil but have not yet made a reservation. It’s pretty smart.
