Convert Your Gas Grill Into a Cheap Pizza Oven

We’ve already shown you how to turn your charcoal grill into a pizza oven , but it’s hard to beat the convenience of gas. If you have a gas grill, here’s how you can get the same results.

You’ll need a few accessories to get the job done, but they won’t cost you much at all (or perhaps you already have everything you need!). Take four clean bricks and wrap them in aluminum foil. Place two of them on a wire rack so that there is enough room between them for a pizza stone. Take a rectangular pizza stone and place it on top of the bricks. This creates a “ceiling” for heat trapping. Then place the second round pizza stone in the oven. This is the rock that you will place your pizza on.

If you want to protect the stone from the grill grates, simply add a stainless steel holder underneath. Now you just need to add a thermometer to the oven so you know when to put your pizza and you can start. Watch the video above to see this pizza oven in action and the delicious results.
