Make a V-Shaped Roasting Rack Using Grates and Aluminum Foil
The roasting rack is required to fully cook turkey , roasts and other large cuts of meat. If you don’t have one in your kitchen arsenal, you can toss it along with the grate and aluminum foil.
This video from America’s Test Kitchen YouTube shows an easy way to make a V-stand out of some of the things you probably already have in your kitchen. Remove the two grates from the stove, wrap them with aluminum foil and punch a few holes to drain the juice. Now you can easily roast chicken, turkey or … roast. If you don’t have grates for your stove, aluminum foil can still save the day; just fold it into a figure eight .
