iFixit is known as the best source for smartphone repair guides . The company has now launched its own certification program if you want to prove you can repair phones.
Certification consists of written and practical testing, and the entire process costs $ 150. The tests cover regular iPhones and Android devices, so they are mainly aimed at users looking for a professional repair. It’s unclear at this point how many (if any) employers recognize iFixit certification as a measure of smartphone repair skills, but if you want to learn, it probably won’t hurt.
